I would place the stones on specific points along the body, called acupressure points, and also would use them to gently glide along the muscles. The warmth of the stones helps me apply deeper pressure, which can help the client feel more relaxed. Before your massage, I use a special heater to heat the stones up to around 45-50.Muscle Revive Warming Massage oil usually to be used (Grapeseed Oil with Ginger&Black Pepper ),which penetrates deep in your muscles,providing quick relief from tension and discomfort. Please avoid eating large meals before your appointment and arrive 5-10 min earlier if you can . If any of these conditions apply to you, you should not receive hot stone massage: Blood clots / prone to blood clots, easy bruising, cancer, chemotherapy or radiations treatments, depressed immune system (lupus, HIV/AIDS, cancer, Epstein Barr, mononucleosis, etc.), diabetes, fever, heart problems, heat sensitivity.
